This year the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has introduced new syllabus pattern in TNPSC VAO Exam 2014. The entire question pattern also changed . The candidates who attended the TNPSC VAO Exam 14-06-2014 said that the VAO 2014 Exam was little easier comparing to the recent years exams, particularly Tamil and Basics of Village Administration were easier than expected.
Now there is a big expectation among the TNPSC VAO Exam aspirants, what will be the cut off mark this year VAO Examination ? . In some websites and blogs (unofficial) , friends have mentioned this year VAO Cut off will be around 155 + correct questions. For VAO official cut off mark details from TNPSC, we have to wait till the result date. But we can guess what will be the this time cut off marks through discussion .

But i just want to make it clear that for questions like 'lines from the poem' will they ask only the poems mentioned in syllabus or from any of the poems. because in VAO exam there was a question, find line from 'is there life but a dream', but that doen't been mentioned in syllabus. i have verified in sakthi book also. This line is from the poem written by ? ans: lewis caroll. my query is, this line is from poem 'is there a life but a dream'. but this poem comes under only match poem with poets. not under any other sections. according to this should i follow syllabus or not?

you have to study every thing in the 10 and 12th or may read... its my analysis... and remaining u have to study according to the portion.. english is most easiest thing in tnpsc... i study for only two days... i have written three exams .. i have been scoring 90/100, 95/100 , 75/80... people taking qustion in tnpsc only knows how to take tamil questions.. look at tamil questions its just crap.. they find a word from tirukural and the ask direct translation of english.. even though its hard to find tamil meaning of tamil word... there are lot of tamil authors.. but in english its very low...

Thanks parthiban for making me clear. i've been plucking my hair for the last 5 days u know. i also been scoring more than 90 in english part when it was full grammer. but when they add literature its just pulling my leg down from scoring high. u r correct. english is quite very easy when compared to tamil. i've seen tamil questions it was just making me mad.
