TNPSC has announced recruitment of Research Assistants in Tamilnadu Town and Country Planning Subordinate Services.

TNPSC Research Assistant Exam Date -  13-12-2015 
Paper 1 - Subject Exam - 13-12-2015 FN (10am - 1pm)
Paper 2 - General Studies - 13-12-2015 (2.30pm - 4.30 pm)

Last dates for TNPSC Research Assst Application
(i) Submission of application - 04-11-2015
(ii) Uploading prescribed qualification certificate- 04-11-2015
(iii) Payment of fee  - 06-11-2015

Vacancy Details  : Total Number of Posts   - Four (4)


1. Research Asst in Statistics - 1 (GT)
2. Research Asst in Economics  - 1 (GT)
3. Research Asst in Geography  - 1 (GT)
4. Research Asst in Sociology  - 1 (GT)

Age Limits for TNPSC Research Assistant Exam 

Minimum Age Limit  : 18 Years 

Maximum Age Limit 

(i)Others  - 30 Years
(ii)SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs,
BCs, BCMs and DWs of al Castes - No Upper Age Limit

Education Qualification for TNPSC Research Assistant Exam

1. Research Assistant in Statistics 

A Master's Degree in Statistics or Mathematics 

2. Research Assistant in Economics 

A Master's Degree in Economics

3. Research Assistant in Geography

A Master's Degree in Geography

4. Research Assistant in Sociology

A Master's Degree in Sociology or Social Work  

Exam Pattern for TNPSC Research Assistant Job

There are two Objective Type Papers 

Paper 1 : Subject Exam ( Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Geography or Sociology ) - PG Standard - 200 Questions - 3 Hours - 300 Marks

Paper 2 : General Studies - Degree Standard - 100 Questions - 2 Hours - 200 Marks 

Interview and Record   -  70  Marks

(Total Marks  - 570)

    December 27 we have NET exam, then how is possible to attend the same date two exam, please postponed or preponderated the date of the exam. this is my humble request
