Assistant Engineer (Civil Engineering )   - 50 Vacancies in Water Resorces of PWD

Assistant Engineer (Civil Engineering)    - 21 Vacancies in Building Division of PWD

Assistant Engineer (Electrical Engineering)  - 9 Posts in PWD
Assistant Director of Industries Safety and Health - 18 Posts in Tamilnadu Factory Service

Exam Dates

Paper – I (Optional Subject) 27.07.2014 FN 10.00 A.M. to 01.00 P.M
Paper – II (General Studies)  27.07.2014 AN 02.30 P.M. to 04.30 P.M 

Salary Details : Rs. 9300 - 34800 + Grade pay Rs.5100/- p.m (Nearly 27,000 / - Take Home)

Age Limit : (as on 01.07.2014):

 SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all Castes - Minimum 18 Years, No maximus Age Limit

 Others [other than i.e. candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs] - Minimum 18 years, Maximum 30 years

Scheme of Examinations   (300+200+70 = 570 Marks)

Paper 1 - Subject -Any one of the following subjects in which the candidate has acquired his/her educational qualification 
( Degree Standard - 200 questions each) ( Objective Type)

(i) Civil Engineering
(ii) Mechanical and Production Engineering
(iii) Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering
(iv) Textile Engineering
(v) Electronics and Communication Engineering
(vi) Chemical Engineering

Paper 2 - General Studies (Common to all) - 100 Questions

Interview - 70 Marks


Total  - 570 Marks

    Dear sir/madam,

    Presently i am studying final semester of engineering(electrical and electronics), Can i applied for this vacancy?.... i try that in the online application its required year of passing, there have only up to 2013. In April 15, 2014 we complete all examination and expecting result in June second week

    Any coaching center is there for electrical engineering of cese, like as Pyramid IAS academy Which is Karaikudi? If you know, please inform and help to us. Otherwise inform the preparation about this exam.

    Please inform any best coaching center for electrical engineering of this exam, like as Pyramid IAS academy which is in Karaikudi. They Conduct the courses Civil and Mechanical engineering only. So, Please inform me and help to us. Otherwise, inform the preparation of this Combined Engineering Service Exam for Electrical Engineering.
