At present the Central Government has allotted 355 Indian Administrative Services (IAS) Posts. Now the government has increased 21 more IAS postings for Tamilnadu State. So the total number of IAS will be 376 .
Among the 376 IAS Officers, 262 Posts are filled Directly ( Civil Service Exam ) and 114 IAS posts will be filled through promotion . The information was conveyed by Union Government .
