Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu ( TNDGE ) has announced notification for National means-cum-merit Scholarship Scheme Examination (8th Std).


Important Dates
NMMS Exam Date                   -  27-12-2014
Applications Download Date    - 26-11-2014 to 04-12-2014
Last date to submit 
application and examination fee - 05-12-2014
To apply online through internet (Head Masters) - 05-12-2014 to 08-12-2014
Last date for Head Masters to submit the applications downloaded from internet and examination fees to respective Distric Education Officers       - 11-12-2014

 Elegibility conditions to apply for NMMS Exam 2014 
  1. A candidate  studying 8th standard in the 2014-2015 academic year in a government or aided school can apply for the NMMS examination. 
  2. Annual income of the candidate's parents should not exeed Rs.1,50,000/-
  3. The candidate should have scored 55% marks in the 7th std final examination. (for SC/ST candidates it is 50%)


 How to apply for NMMS Examination 2014 ? 

 The candidates should apply for the examination through the schools they are studying only. The Head Masters will download the application forms from the www.tndge.in

 Examination Fee  - Rs.50/-
