Tamilnadu B.Ed 2015 Two Years Increase Case - Latest News Updates
National Council for Teachers Education has introduced new regulations for the Teachers Education Institutes through out India on 1st December 2014. 

Important Regulations 
  • One of the important regulation was increasing the duration of B Ed and M Ed courses from one year to two year.
  • The total number of students enrollment for an institution also reduced from 100 to 50 students.
  • The regulation insisted the existing B Ed, M Ed colleges to conduct not onlu Educational Degrees but also Art and Science Courses. 
Cases filed against these New Regulations

B.Ed colleges accross Tamilnadu have filed cases in the Chennai High Court against this new regulations. Tamilnadu Government has replied in these cases. 

Current Status of the B.ED / M.Ed Course Duration Increase Case in Madras High Court 

The final hearing of this case is adjourned to 2nd November 2015.
