TNPSC Assistant Jailor Exam 2016 Notification was published on 09-03-2016 . Candidates can apply online upto 
08-04-2016 from www.tnpscexam.net website. 

 Age Limit for TNPSC Assistant Jailor Exam


Minimum Age Limit  : 18 Years

Maximum Age Limit : 
  • No Maximum Age Limit for  Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities, Backward Classes, Backward Classes (Muslims) and Destitute Widows of all castes
  • 30 Years for Others

Educational Qualification for TNPSC Assistant Jailor

A degree of B.A., or B.Sc., or B. Com., of any University or institution recognized by the UGC

Physical Measurement for TNPSC Assistant Jailor 

Men  :  Height

  • For all Communities (Except SC, SCA and ST)  - 168cms
  • For SC, SCA and ST  - 160 cms


Woman  : Height

  • For all Communities (Except SC, SCA and ST)  - 155 cms
  • For SC, SCA and ST  - 150 cms


Men  - Chest Measurement not less than (round the chest)
on full expiration
  • For All communities (except SC, SCA and ST)  - 86 cms
  • For SC, SCA and ST  - 79 cms


On full inspiration (for all)  - 5 cms

Note : Candidates should upload the certificate of physical measurement as mentioned in 5(B)(ii) of the Notification
