இந்தியா டுடே 2022-ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான ஒட்டுமொத்த சிறந்த செயல்திறன் கொண்ட மாநிலமாக தமிழ்நாடு தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது . பொருளாதாரம், கல்வி, சுகாதாரம், நிர்வாகம் போன்ற அளவுருக்களின் அடிப்படையில் மதிப்பீடு செய்யப்பட்டதில், பெரிய மாநிலங்கள் வரிசையில் தமிழ்நாடு முதலிடம் பெற்றுள்ளது. இரண்டாமிடத்தை கேரளாவும் மூன்றாமிடத்தை ஹிமாச்சல் பிரதேச மாநிலமும் நான்காவது இடத்தை குஜராத் மாநிலமும், ஐந்தாவது இடத்தை பஞ்சாப் மாநிலமும் பெற்றுள்ளன.
