மதுரை நான்காம் தமிழ்ச் சங்கத்தின் 122 - ஆவது ஆண்டு தொடக்க விழா 14.9.2023 அன்று நடைபெற்றது. தமிழ்ச் சங்கத்தின் நிறுவனா் வள்ளல் பொன். பாண்டித்துரைத் தேவா் உருவச் சிலைக்கு பேராசிரியா்கள், மாணவா்கள் மாலை அணிவித்து மரியாதை செலுத்தினா்.
கூ.தக. : மதுரைத் தமிழ்ச் சங்கம் 1901-ஆம் ஆண்டு தோற்றுவிக்கப்பட்டது. 1902 முதல் 'செந்தமிழ்' என்னும் மாத இதழை வெளியிட்டுவருகிறது. பாண்டித்துரைத் தேவர் இதனைத் தோற்றுவித்தார். இது நான்காம் தமிழ்ச்சங்கம் எனப் போற்றப்படுகிறது.
